A popular chicken finger company has filed plans with Frederick County for a restaurant near Francis Scott Key Mall, although the company says its plans are not yet official.

Raising Cane's, a Louisiana-based chain known for its chicken fingers, has filed a site plan with the county for a more than 3,300-square-foot restaurant at 5613 Spectrum Drive, near the mall.
