NEW YORK (PIX11)-- After being condemned as a war criminal by other world leaders at the United Nations, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his country's ongoing conflict with Hamas. "We are wiping out the terror regime of Hamas and ensuring this savagery will never threaten Israel again."

Showing their displeasure with Netanyahu, dozens of delegates walked out of the General Assembly.

During his speech, which was heard on large loudspeakers set up in Gaza, Netanyahu hoped he could be heard by the hostages still held by the terrorists.

"We have not forgotten you, not for a second. The people of Israel stand with you. We will not falter, we will not rest until we bring all of you home."
