An active methamphetamine laboratory inside a Bremerton residence was shut down, with the operator in custody Thursday.

Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) officers served an arrest warrant at approximately 12 p.m. in the 4200 block of N.W. Lakeview Drive, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announced .

A 44-year-old man from Bremerton was the target of the warrant. DOC officers located the suspect in a canopy storage area and workshop outside of the residence.
