AT&T partners with Dallas police to fight copper thefts as Texas toughens laws

AT&T is teaming up with the Dallas Police Department to combat a surge in copper thefts that have disrupted phone and internet services across the city. Texas ranks third in copper theft incidents within AT&T’s national footprint, with over a thousand cases reported this year.
