PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Salem man was arrested on Friday after he was accused of stabbing a teenager at Highland Park several months ago, authorities said.
Kyle Melvin Mulich, 40, is facing charges in connection with a 19-year-old who was stabbed twice at the park back on the afternoon of March 3, Salem police said. The victim was taken to Salem Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
"During the months-long investigation, detectives wrote warrants and worked with the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, which aided in identifying Mulich as the suspect," the Salem Police Department said in a press release.
Mulich was booked into the Marion County Jail and faces charges that include felony assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
