WATERTOWN — Watertown High School's 2025 football team won't have any problem remembering its homecoming game.
The Arrows took advantage of five first-half touchdown passes from senior quarterback Markus Pitkin and rolled to a 48-0 win over Douglas on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex.
It was the second win in a row for Watertown (2-3) and the first home victory in three tries in the Arrows' renovated stadium.
"It feels great to get a win out here," Pitkin said. "It took long enough."
Homecoming games are typically one-sided and it also marked the first time that Watertown had won a home game away from Watertown Stadium, which opened in 1941 and served as the team's home field for 84 years.
Keeping the
