(KRON) -- Fire officials believe a charcoal barbeque is to blame for a blaze that decimated a mobile home and recreational vehicle (RV) in Sonoma County Monday.
Several callers reported a house fire to the Graton Fire Department who dispatched units just before 5 a.m.
Multiple fire engines from Graton, Gold Ridge, Sonoma County, Santa Rosa and Cal Fire helped at the scene. Defensive firefighting was used to fight the flames, according to GFD.
"The occupants of both structures had escaped with only minor injuries by crawling out of the bedroom windows," said Graton FD. "Due to the significant involvement before arrival, a defensive fire was implemented." • Photo courtesy of Graton Fire Department. • Photo courtesy of Graton Fire Department. • Photo courtesy of Graton Fire Departmen
