BUFFALO, N.Y. — Several people were rushed to hospitals following a Friday night crash that briefly closed the 33 West.

A crash involving six vehicles happened around 7:40 p.m. Friday on the 33 West, near Grider Street.

"Several individuals were transported to area hospitals for precautionary evaluations. There were no life-threatening injuries," a Buffalo Police spokesperson told 2 On Your Side .

All lanes of the 33 West reopened around 8:30 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation. Police said charges are not expected at this time.
