Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched Bihar’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana via video conferencing, transferring the first instalment of Rs 10,000 each into the bank accounts of 75 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme to promote women’s self-employment and livelihood. “In the auspicious time of Navratri, I have had the opportunity to be part of the happiness of the women in Bihar. So far, 75 lakh sisters have joined this scheme. Rs 10,000 each has been sent into the bank accounts of all these sisters at once,” Modi said.
