PONTIAC ( 25News Now ) - Livingston County Coroner Michael Renner released the identity of a 70-year-old Pontiac woman who was killed in a crash Thursday morning.

Renner pronounced Nancy C. Benedict dead at the scene of the crash just before 10 a.m. It happened just before 9:20 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of W. Reynolds Street and Wal-Mart Drive in Pontiac.

A report from the coroner showed the other driver was in a Dodge pickup truck heading east on Reynolds when he T-boned Benedict’s vehicle from the driver’s side. He was treated for potential injuries and released, but not before being cited for disobeying a traffic light.
