Martha Meredith Eddy, 90, of Wheeling, passed away at home, in the loving arms of her daughter, on Monday, September 22, 2025.

She was born in Fairmont, WV, on August 15, 1935, daughter of the late Russell D. and Helen DeVol Meredith.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Eddy.

She is survived by her son, Mark Russell Eddy; daughter, Meredith Dana Eddy and her fiance, Steven Woolard; grandson, “J.D.” Eddy (Kimber); and great granddaughter, Laynee Eddy.

Martha was a very devoted and loyal wife, daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. If she knew and loved you – you never doubted her love and devotion to you. She taught high school English for six years and was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church
