COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station City Hall was packed Thursday night as dozens of residents turned out to share concerns about the future of Pebble Creek Parkway.

It was the second straight meeting where residents turned out in full force to oppose plans they say would impact neighborhood integrity and threaten their way of life.

More than 40 people signed up to speak, and an online petition opposing the project has collected more than 1,400 signatures.

Some homeowners argue the project would increase traffic, noise and safety risks and disrupt the character of their community. Others worry it could lower property values and change what they love most about where they live.
