As October kicks off, Britain is set to enjoy a burst of hot weather , with forecasters predicting temperatures could reach up to 20C in some parts of the country. ‌

Weather maps from WXCharts indicate that Wednesday, October 1, will bring the best of the autumn sunshine, particularly across southern and southeastern England. ‌

London and its surrounding areas could bask in highs of 20C, while much of the Midlands is expected to hit 18C-19C. ‌
