Sharjah: Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery Company unveiled the world’s heaviest dress made of pure gold at the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah. Known as the “Dubai Dress”, it received the Guinness World Records certificate.

The masterpiece is crafted from 21-carat gold and weighing 10.0812 kilograms. Valued at Dh4.6 million (Rs 11.1 crore), the dress consists of four main parts: a golden crown (398g), a massive necklace (8,810.60g), earrings (134.1g) and the “heyar” piece (738.5g).

The design draws inspiration from Emirati heritage, blending tradition with a modern artistic touch. Intricate engravings and coloured precious stones add to its grandeur.
