Tulsa Police say an officer is in the hospital after being shot on Friday night.
Police say it was the result of a pursuit that ended at a gas station near Admiral and Memorial.
Tulsa Police say the person who fired the shot at the officer has also been taken to the hospital after sustaining an injury at the end of the pursuit.
Police say they stopped a car several miles west of the gas station. When they got to the car, officers saw a gun on the floorboard. When officers questioned the driver about the gun, the driver fled and struck two police cars.
TPD says they pursued the suspect and ended the chase at Admiral and Memorial, where the suspect left his vehicle and fired shots at officers. One officer was struck in the foot, and a police car windshield was also hit.
