An Oklahoma City woman rescued an abandoned dog and, after an unsuccessful search for his owners, decided to give him a forever home, naming him Pluto.

But Pluto didn’t just find love and safety. He’s now a TikTok sensation with plans to travel the world as a certified therapy dog, bringing comfort to others.

It all started in the Planet Fitness parking lot. Kimberly Dishon had just finished her workout and was leaving when she saw a dog peeking through the glass door.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Dishon said. “He was just staring, hopeless as can be.”

She said the dog looked scared and timid, so she took him home, where she spent hours bathing him and removing stickers and fleas from his matted fur.
