Hawaii sophomore Adrianna Arquette recorded the first triple-double by a Rainbow Wahine in seven years with 41 assists, 15 digs and a career-high 11 kills and fired an ace on match point to lead UH to a 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 15-13 win tonight over UC Riverside.

Cha’lei Reid had a team-high 15 kills, 13 digs, five aces and four blocks and Victoria Leyva recorded a career high with 29 digs for the Rainbow Wahine (5-7, 1-0) in their Big West Conference opener in front of a crowd of 4,211 at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

Makena Tong, a University Lab alumna, recorded her 1,000th career kill and finished with 22 assists and 11 digs for the Highlanders (4-8, 0-2), who led 2-1 after three sets.
