Sonaiya Jaworski and Makayla Brown combined to score five goals for Carteret in a 5-2 win over South Amboy in Carteret.

Jaworski got the scoring started with the first two goals of the game in the first half, both assisted by Brown, before Brown found the back of the net herself to stake Carteret to a 3-0 lead.

Each player tacked on an additional goal in the second half, with Jaworski’s hat trick goal being followed by Brown’s second tally for Carteret (7-3).

Ashely Moreira-Burgos scored both goals for South Amboy (1-7).
