A Kent windmill which dates back more than 200 years has been brought back to life following an extensive restoration project. Meopham Windmill has been returned to its fully working glory for the first time in 30 years thanks to the £300,000 project.

The Grade II* listed landmark, which dates back to around 1820, has been revived thanks to a collaboration between Kent County Council (KCC) , Meopham Windmill Trust, Suffolk Millwrights, and the local community.

An undeniably iconic Kent structure, it is recognisable thanks to its rare six-sided design.
