MYSTERY drones shut down another Danish airport overnight, authorities confirmed.

It comes just days after Copenhagen Airport - the busiest hub in the Nordic region - was plunged into chao s amid claims Moscow is behind a string of sabotage across Europe.

Drones were spotted flying over the Karup Air Base on Friday evening.

Cops were involved in "an operation" due to a rogue drone flying both inside and outside the air station area, Danish authorities told Jyllands-Posten .

The sightings forced authorities to shut the airspace for civilian flights.
