MAKENA White and Jake Knapp's relationship was "hard-launched" by NBC.

White tragically died this week aged just 28.

Pro golfer Knapp, ranked at No80 in the world, called Makena's passing a "tough reality to comprehend".

The pair had been dating for two years.

Their relationship was revealed when Knapp won his first PGA Tour title aged 29 in February 2024.

With the California-native going well at the Mexico Open, Makena jetted down from Canada to support her man.

The NBC broadcast of the event revealed to viewers that the pair were a couple, and that they had been dating for around six months at the time.

To this point, the duo had not yet featured on each other's social media accounts, with their relationship kept low profile.
