THE 45th edition of the Ryder Cup has concluded after a thrilling tournament!

This year's iconic competition was held in the United States at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York .

But despite being on home turf, Team USA were unable to avenge their loss to Team Europe in Rome back in 2023.

Luke Donald's men were rampant all weekend and secured a 15-13 win to retain the Ryder Cup and claim their first win Stateside since 2012.

In 2027, the Americans will have to overcome their woeful record on enemy soil if they want to reclaim the title after a six-year drought.

The next Ryder Cup will present Team USA with another opportunity to end their torrid run, as it will be Europe's turn to host the event.
