Bengaluru, Sep 27: Suhana Sayed, the young Muslim singer who captured hearts on Zee Kannada’s reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ with her soulful rendition of the devotional song ‘Shrikarane Srinivasane’, and later faced criticism from conservative clerics for singing a Hindu bhajan, has now begun a new chapter in her life.

The talented singer, who refused to be deterred by the backlash and went on to establish her career in music with confidence and boldness, has announced her wedding. Suhana is set to marry her longtime friend and theatre artist, Nithin Shivansh.

Nithin, a skilled performer trained at the renowned theatre institute ‘Ninasam’, has been a close friend of Suhana for the past 16 years. Their enduring bond has now blossomed into marriage. S
