LIHUE — Kauai High School Boys and Girls teams took their respective matches on Thursday during the Kauai Interscholastic Federation, Week No. 3 bowling at the Kauai Bowl.

Coach Kye Sasaki, coach for the Kauai High School teams, and the KIF scorekeeper, said with the results, the Kauai girls who won with a 1,907 pinfall is up by two weeks.

The Kauai boys, winning Week 3 with a 2,690 pinfall, are tied for the league standings with Waimea and Kapaa boys.

“This was yet another exciting night with all schools competing back and forth,” said Sasaki. “If you haven’t watched a bowling match yet this season, I can say this is the season to do it.”

Levi Kaleiohi who rolled a pair of 100-games led the Kanuikapono Charter School boys. Kanuikapono did not field any girl bowlers.
