A new weather system is likely to emerge soon, according to the IMD's prediction. An upper air cyclonic circulation is expected to form over the north Andaman Sea by 30th September.
Under its influence, a new low-pressure area is forecast to develop over the north and adjoining central Bay of Bengal around 1st October 2025.
The IMD has advised close monitoring of these evolving systems as they may influence the rainfall pattern in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and neighbouring states in the coming days. Fishermen have also been cautioned about possible rough sea conditions in the Bay of Bengal.
