By now, Andrew Peeke has established a pretty good identity for himself as an NHL player. He’s a tough, no-frills stay-at-home defender who can be a reliable anchor for a third pairing.

But while Peeke knows who he is, that doesn’t mean the 27-year-old Bruins defenseman isn’t still looking at ways to improve his game.

Peeke enjoyed a big confidence boost last spring when he, along with Jeremy Swayman and Mason Lohrei, was a member of the Team USA squad that won gold at the World Championships. He wants to build off of that.
