On September 26, 2025, the President of India Droupadi Murmu presented the National Geoscience Awards (NGA) for 202 4 of the Ministry of Mines (MoM) on 20 Geoscientists during a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi, Delhi.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines (MoM), Asit Saha, Director General (DG), Geological Survey of India and several other senior officials.
