Plymouth Argyle are in League One action against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium this afternoon after they had mixed fortunes in back-to-back games at Home Park.

The Pilgrims suffered a very disappointing 1-0 defeat to Peterborough United last Saturday before beating Tottenham Hotspur under-21s 6-2 in the second of their three group stage games in the Vertu Trophy, which ensured their progress to the last 32 of the competition.

Argyle are on the road for the first time since they picked up their first away league win of the campaign, which was a 3-2 victory over Luton Town in an incident-packed match at Kenilworth Road a fortnight ago.
