Eight teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa – will feature in the 2025 edition of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, which is set to be played from September 30 to November 2 across four venues in India and one in Sri Lanka. Co-hosts India and Sri Lanka will face each other in the tournament’s opener on Tuesday, September 30, at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, and world No. 1 ODI team Australia will open their campaign on October 1 at Holkar Stadium in Indore against Trans-Tasman rivals and 2024 T20 World Cup winners New Zealand.

Four-time champions and world No. 2 ODI team England, meanwhile, will face South Africa in their first league match on October 3 in Guwahati.
