PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (WWSB) - A Punta Gorda woman is facing charges after drugs were found in her home.

Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Jennifer Kennedy on Thursday after executing a search warrant at a home near Amanda Street.

Kennedy was arrested on narcotics charges.

During the search, deputies said they also found multiple dead cats inside the home.

Officials say additional charges may be brought by Charlotte County Animal Control.
