A man was stabbed to death during a fight at Motel 6 in Claremont, authorities said Saturday.
Police received a call at approximately 10:58 p.m. Friday of a fight in progress at the Motel 6 at 840 S. Indian Hill Blvd., said Sgt. Matt Hamill of the Claremont Police Department.
“As officers were responding to the location, the caller stated there was possibly a victim of a stabbing,” Hamill said. “CPD officers arrived on scene and located one victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The wounded man was taken by ambulance to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
