Police search for owner who fled after dog bit child at Cumberland County park

Silver Spring Township police are looking for a woman who fled after her dog bit a child at a park.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. Friday in Pleasant View Park.

Police said the woman was walking a mixed breed dog when it got off a leash and bit the child. The woman left the scene without sharing her contact information with the child’s guardians.
