Srinagar, Sept 27 : Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has issued a shutdown schedule across several districts to facilitate branch cutting, line maintenance and augmentation works on 33KV power lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, multiple receiving stations will remain off, affecting supply to large parts of Baramulla, Uri, Budgam and Ganderbal between 28 September and 14 October.

In Baramulla, shutdowns will impact Sheeri–Baramulla 1st and 2nd lines, LJHP Gantamulla–Uri, LJHP Gantamulla–Boniyar, Amargarh–Watergam, Amargarh–SIDCO, Sheeri–Malpora and Delina–Delina lines, affecting areas including Old Town, Kanlibagh, Boniyar, Nowshera, Sultanpora, Sopore-II, Handwara and adjoining localities.
