One week ago, Sportsnet rescued the Toronto Blue Jays from being stranded on Apple TV island.

The reward? Fans were treated to one of the worst losses in franchise history.

Sportsnet was not able to get the Blue Jays back on easily accessible television for the second week in a row. Toronto’s 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays was only available for viewing on Apple TV.

This isn’t new for Blue Jays viewers. Apple TV has had an agreement with the MLB to broadcast “Friday Night Baseball” since 2022.

However, it’s hard to blame fans for being frustrated when they may have missed a game with playoff-seeding implications.
