ESPN "College GameDay" already had high praise for Indiana football on Saturday, spending a 2-minute segment largely on the Hoosiers ahead of their game at Iowa.

The famed picks came as kickoff for the noon window of games was near. But it was Fernando Mendoza in the spotlight before they got to that point. Pat McAfee, an Indiana resident, felt Mendoza has been so good through four games that he's "probably going to be the No. 1 overall pick" in April's NFL draft. Kirk Herbstreit was quick to point out that IU has rushed for more than 300 yards in each of its four games this season.

Iowa has been a difficult team to play against ranked teams for how it mucks up games, controls the ball and creates turnovers. Even more difficult is playing at Kinnick Stadium, and Curt Cignetti
