KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) concluded a drug investigation into a 39-year-old male Kalamazoo resident earlier this month.

By Sept. 20, 2025, KVET had received information from various sources that the male suspect was trafficking large amounts of various controlled substances. Multiple addresses were observed and confirmed to be directly related to the suspect, police said.

Several search warrants were executed in the City of Kalamazoo with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF).

Investigators contacted the male in his vehicle in the 3700 block of E Cork Street. Upon searching his vehicle, approximately four pounds of suspected crystal methamphetamine were found, police said.
