Lola Young pulled out of a concert at the last minute to protect her mental health.

On Friday night (September 26), the 24-year-old “Messy” singer was set to perform at the Audacy’s We Can Survive benefit concert held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Shortly before she was set to take the stage, Lola ‘s manager Nick Shymansky announced on the singer’s Instagram Story that she would not be performing.

“Unfortunately due to a sensitive matter I have advised Lola Young to pull out of performing at Audacy – We Can Survive [at] Prudential Center this evening,” Nick wrote. “Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe.”
