TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. — The Bilmar Beach Resort in Treasure Island marks one year since Hurricane Helene with its final phase of reopening.

Resort General Manager Clyde Smith, along with the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber, Pinellas County Commissioners and Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, attended a ribbon cutting Friday afternoon. The event signifies a new start for the resort, celebrating the completion of the lobby, more than 30 first-floor guest rooms and Waves Beach Bar.
