Two drivers received roadside suspensions during a Niagara Regional Police RIDE spot check in St. Catharines Friday night.
NRP timed the enforcement initiative to coincide with the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival in Montebello Park.
Police said officers stopped about 350 vehicles throughout the night and asked drivers if they had any alcohol or drugs earlier in the evening.
Twenty drivers were required to provide a sample of their breath for analysis, which resulted in two drivers having their licences suspected for three days.
Police said they also issued more than a dozen provincial offence notices. They included tickets for a young driver under 22-years-old and a novice driver with a G2 class licence for driving with a breath alcohol concentration above zero.
