Ahead of their penultimate game of the regular season, the Mets have called up right-handed relief pitcher Dylan Ross, who would be making his major league debut if he were to get into a game, and designated fellow right-handed reliever Kevin Herget for assignment to make room for him on the active and 40-man rosters. The Mets have also placed Brett Baty on the injured list with a right oblique strain, an injury that almost certainly ends his 2025 season, and called up utility player Jared Young to take his place on the roster.
