Man shot in the head during broad daylight attack on West North Avenue

Baltimore, MD – A 31-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the head Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of West North Avenue, prompting an active investigation by Western District Shooting detectives.

The shooting occurred around 4:16 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the area following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police have not released any information regarding a suspect or motive, and no arrests have been made. Detectives from the Western District Shooting Unit are leading the investigation.
