The house was originally built in 1903, and underwent a gut renovation by its current owner, said listing agent Kimberly Bancroft, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty.
"He kept a lot of the lovely, architectural details," she said. "And he even unearthed some."
While the owner was renovating the second floor, he discovered wood beams across the ceiling, Bancroft said. The beams are now on display and complement an exposed brick wall in the same room.
"There are so many nice, original details that make it so special," the agent said.
