American referee David Gerson believes Brentford should have finished the game with 10 men as Manchester United fell to a 3-1 defeat at the G-Tech Community Stadium .
Brentford defender Nathan Collins was fortunate to avoid a red card after committing a foul on Bryan Mbeumo in the second half. The former Wolves man dragged down his former colleague inside the penalty area.
Referee Craig Pawson showed Collins a yellow card and Video Assistant Referee Andy Madley, alongside his assistant Nicholas Hopton, examined the incident at Stockley Park, deemed it not to be a sending off offence.
