MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- A pedestrian was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Malibu, authorities said Saturday.
The crash happened at about 9:40 p.m. Friday on Pacific Coast Highway near Carbon Canyon, according to a watch commander at the sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu station.
The motorist driving that vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No citations or arrest was announced.
PCH was closed in both directions for several hours and re-opened about 2 a.m.
No additional information was immediately released.
