ALAIEDON TWP, Mich. (WILX) - One man is dead after a single motorcycle crash in Alaiedon Township early Saturday morning.

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies were dispatched to Westbound I-96 near Okemos Rd around 9 a.m.

Deputies said that a 61-year-old Williamston man driving a motorcycle veered off the road into a ditch near the Okemos Rd, exit. The man would die at the scene due to his injuries.

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office said that the investigation is still ongoing, and that if anyone has additional information is asked to please call Deputy Phil Martin at 517-676-8444.
