On Saturday. Sept. 27, at approximately 7:47 a.m., the Flagstaff Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of West University Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a female victim who had sustained a gunshot wound, according to a press release. Witnesses inside the apartment provided immediate medical aid, which was then assumed by responding officers and emergency medical personnel. The female victim was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center in critical condition, where she continues to receive medical care. Copy article link
