ATHENS, Ga. (WCJB) - The Florida Gators Soccer team came back from being down 2-0 to draw No. 17-ranked Georgia 2-2 on the road Friday night after a late goal.

“In the SEC, the margins are so small, so for us to be able to put a goal in at the end was helpful for us,” Gators head coach Samantha Bohon said. “We’ve got to keep going and turn some of these good performances into wins. But overall, anytime you can get a point on the road in the SEC, you’ve got to be happy with it.”

Georgia first broke through in the 24th minute with a penalty kick from the foot of Summer Denigan, going up 1-0 in the first half of the match. The penalty was awarded to the Bulldogs after video review confirmed a Florida foul in the box.
