Barb Putman praised her husband Bill Putman as a “blessing” only days before several members of the family were involved in a fatal car accident.

Our family was in a tragic car accident and we lost Papa, Neenee and Aunt Megan,” a Saturday, September 27, statement shared via the family’s @GrowingUpPutmans Instagram account read, referring to grandparents Bill and Barb and their daughter-in-law. “They have gone home to be with the Lord.”

Family members Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia remained hospitalized at the time of publication, per the same statement.
