Katie Thurston is alive, despite what you may have read online.

Five months after the Bachelor Nation alum revealed that her breast cancer diagnosis had progressed to stage four with metastasis in her liver, she detailed her frustration with false news articles announcing her death.

“I've seen this article go around before, but something about tonight really f--king pisses me off,” Katie said through tears in a video shared to her Instagram Story Sept. 26. “It was triggering. I tried to report it [but] there's nothing I can do.”

She added, “I just feel helpless. I'm so mad right now.”
