WASHINGTON, DC — Here’s a look at how area members of Congress voted over the previous week.

Along with this week’s roll call votes, the Senate also passed the Ending Improper Payments to Deceased People Act (S. 269), to improve coordination between federal and state agencies and the Treasury Department’s Do Not Pay system.

Continuing appropriations

The House on Sept. 19 voted 217-212 to pass the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act (H.R. 5371), sponsored by Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., to provide funding for federal government programs through Nov. 21, and increase spending on security for government officials.
